A Look Back to Plan Ahead
2025 was a big year for Streamline. We saw challenges, but ultimately were fortunate enough to experience far more wins. Mariel took a trip to Italy, Amanda closed on her home with her husband, we moved to our Bruce Street location, grew the team to add Kirsten, welcomed Lexi and Flux Nutrition into our space. Amanda earned her Pelvic Floor Specialist Certification and we all had the great privilege of helping a new PR number of people get back to doing what they love to do after pregnancy/delivery, injury, surgery and illness.

While big years, PRs and meeting goals are great, it’s important to remember that they don’t just happen because we wish them into existence. Oftentimes (and the media supports this), we get caught up in attacking January 1, in the mentality of ‘New Year, New Me.’ Hand up if you’ve got a list of resolutions that will change your life in 2026. That said, it’s been well documented that if people go in too hard, they’re more likely to quit by February (Quitter’s Day is this coming Friday, January 9).
While setting big goals is great, breaking them down into digestible bites and having deadlines is helpful. And sometimes just maintaining what you’ve been doing is also fine. SOMEtimes consistency is the best way forward; continue building on the progress that you’ve previously made. Show up every day and give the best effort that you have. Settle into your daily routine and honor the peace that comes from regularity and consistency. Use a schedule. Wake up and go to bed at the same time. Put your workouts in your calendar. This isn’t different from brushing your teeth two times a day, you just have to build the habit. This is how big changes get made.
Maybe you do want a big change; a new job/career, you want to run a marathon or compete in your first Hyrox competition. We’re here for all of it and would love to partner with you in your journey, whatever that looks like for you. New year, new you, same Streamline.
In 2025 we grew our connections in the community and we’re on the forefront of change in physical therapy (if not healthcare) in the Madison area. We sincerely hope you’ve all had a great holiday season and that you’re settling into 2026 well. Here’s to a year of consistency and growth. Cheers!
