About Us

Helping active people stay active and accomplish their goals.
At Streamline Physio, we help Madison-based athletes get out of pain and stay in the water (or game), performing at a high level through performance focused physical therapy and wellness services.

Our Philosophy
Every service we offer is grounded in our three core principles. We're here to stop your pain, solve the root problem, and set you up for success! Whether you're recovering from a sprain, managing a chronic issue, or just looking to boost your overall well-being, consider us your partners in health.
Stop Your Pain
We initiate healing by disrupting the pain cycle, helping you escape the negative feedback loop that keeps you trapped in discomfort.
Solve the Root Cause of the Issue
Through targeted interventions, we work to restore optimal tissue function, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and stability for long-term wellness.
Set You Up for Success
We then fortify your body, enhancing its performance capabilities and equipping you with the tools to prevent relapses into the pain cycle.

Dr. Kari Martin
Founder, PT, DPT, OCS, FDNSDr. Kari was born and raised in Madison and always knew she wanted a career working with and helping people achieve their greatness. She finished her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and then, after working in a clinic and building a solid foundation in coaching swimming, she graduated with her DPT from the UW in 2012.
She started her career as a physical therapist in a health system outside town, but soon became disenchanted with the limitations of a health care system. She learned a ton, and moved her career to a private practice in the Madison area. Here, she became immersed in what it was for a patient to have a choice in who their providers are. Being able to work more in the community lit a fire in her to step out on her own and build a practice where the patient can not only choose their provider, but where she would be able to work for the patient, rather than be driven by insurance company requirements. Do you need manual therapy, dry needling and functional based corrective exercise movements? She can do that. Do you need one-on-one time and assistance with movement patterns to get back to the pool or playing field? She's here for you.
Dr. Kari achieved a Specialist Certification in Orthopedics (OCS) in 2018 and has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She has found her niche in working with athletes of all varieties, though swimming is her passion. She loves breaking down movement patterns to find ways to improve strength, power and efficiency, if not to decrease pain or prevent injury.
When Dr. Kari is not at work, you can find her on a pool deck for the better part of the year; coaching at Ridgewood in the summer and/or helping with both the Mens’ and Women’s Swim Teams at Memorial High School. Being a PT makes Dr. Kari a better coach, and being a coach makes her a better PT. In her very limited spare time, she loves being with my family and friends, traveling, hiking and baking and decorating all kinds of delicious things. She is an avid sports fan, and had the very cool opportunity to volunteer at the USOPC Training Center in Colorado Springs a few years ago. Dr. Kari loves dogs of all shapes and sizes and enjoys sunny afternoon walks around the neighborhood and dog park with her two rescues.

Dr. Amanda LaDue
Physical Therapist, DPTMy journey began with a foundation in Biomedical Sciences from UW-River Falls, followed by earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Concordia, Saint Paul. As a former collegiate soccer player, I understand the rigors of high-performance athletics and injury recovery. Specializing in functional dry needling, pelvic health, and CrossFit rehabilitation, I tailor treatment plans to address each individual's unique needs and aspirations. Beyond the clinic, you'll find me exploring the great outdoors by hiking, camping, fishing, or kayaking.
